Intro These pages briefly chronicle the rebuild of the main furnace at the Corning Museum of Glass's Studio. They originally appeared as a blog September 15 - 22, 2005. Included here is a reasonably complete set of drawings for the furnace as well as a materials list. This furnace has been a workhorse for the Studio. It was originally built in 1995 and rebuilt in 2000. This will be the third time the furnace has been rebuilt with the original steelwork and combustion system components.
