Drawings and materials list

These drawings are in .pdf format created by printing Solid Edge drawings using CutePDF. Needless to say, this method is suspect and you should not be surprised to encounter line weight or typeface anomalies. These drawings may contain errors, omissions, and what would be considered shoddy drafting practices by any self respecting engineer. Never-the-less, they appear as a "public service" for the amusement of anyone interested in this type of furnace.

If you download these drawings, please DO NOT CALL with questions about furnace design, furnace construction, or to request my services for furnace building or consulting. No one at Spiral Arts will answer even the smallest questions relating to these drawings or to the materials list. Should you actually download and use any of this information for the purpose of planning or building a piece of equipment, you do so at your own risk. Building a furnace of this size can be daunting for those without the necessary skills. Above all, it is difficult to underestimate the amount of planning and organizing required. You should expect to spend at least twice as much time planning and collecting materials as you spend in construction. Should you attempt to email Spiral Arts with questions, please do not expect a timely reply if any at all. Constructive comments, and suggestions are appreciated.

This html is published directly from Excel 2000 - sorry. It may be a bit of overkill for most people. Perhaps, if nothing else, it will give a sense of how much effort and planning go into building a turnkey furnace.
